DDVS/RCC has a staff of trained volunteers who answer the crisis line, and provide crisis intervention for victims.  These volunteers receive 20 hours of training on domestic violence and sexual assault issues and appropriate crisis intervention.  Other volunteers both educate the public and identify victims through public awareness programs.
